“On popular demand the fares on select sectors have been further reduced wef July 10, 2016 equivalent to (Rajdhani AC II). Seven more sectors have been added today Delhi to Ranchi, Delhi to Ahmedabad, Delhi to Hyderabad, Delhi to Goa, Delhi to Patna, Delhi to Raipur and vice versa. By introducing these fares we r not only generate additional revenue but also able to fill each n every seat till last minute,” said an airline official, who did not want to be identified.
As part of the scheme, these tickets will be available four hours before the departure time of the flight. These tickets will be available on airline counters and on airline’s website.
On June 27, 2016, Air India had announced to sell last-minute fares on four metro routes equivalent to second AC of Rajdhani Express. This scheme has effectively brought down fares between Delhi and Mumbai to as low as Rs 2,870.
These tickets can either be booked at airport ticket counters or at Air India's website.
