Bhopal: After Saturday rain fury, drizzle on Saturday brought with them a melodious musical atmosphere in the state capital. City music lovers enjoyed the weather with the musical evening organised by Sangeet Kendra "Anhad", in association with Bharat Bhavan. Clarionate maestro Pandit Narsimhalu Vedawati mesmerised the audience. He is a renowned Clarionate player in Carnatic and Indian music.

Accompanied on stage by Salim Ullah Vade, his wife Shiva Amma Vedawati and son and disciple Venkatesh Veadwati on Tabla, Tanpura and Clarionate respectively, they presented a melodious combination. Starting the event with Raga Gorakh Kalyan followed by Raga Natbihar Dhrudh, Panditji expressed his love for music with his love and tunes and various other ragas. Pt Vedawati brought recognition to Clarionate world over, and captivated the audience with tunes in Hindi songs. He played music popularised by Gwalior and Jaipur gharana on his instrument.
"I am pleased that I am being given an opportunity to present on this stage. Such opportunities make me feel grateful as every time I present, I get a chance to introduce to people my instrument as it is not as well-known like most other instruments like guitar or shehnai" said Pt Vedawati.
