Abhimanyu hits back at Hisar MP

HISAR: Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu has rubbished INLD MP Dushyant Chautala’s charge about his family’s interest in privatising 23 power sub-divisions.

Hisar, July 10

Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu has rubbished INLD MP Dushyant Chautala’s charge about his family’s interest in privatising 23 power sub-divisions.

“The allegation is baseless. He should do his homework before levelling such a charge,” the minister told the media here on Friday. Shyam Indus Power Solutions Private Limited, in a statement here on Saturday, denied getting a tender of Rs 500 crore from Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (HVPN). The MP had said the tender for the Haryana power corporation had been given to Shyam Indus, a firm owned by a member of Abhimanyu’s family. The MP’s spokesperson said Dushyant was away on a trip and he would reply to the minister’s statement on his return.TNS
