SP is savior of youth: Akhilesh

Ferozabad,Jul 10 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today said only Samajwadi Party Government was the true saviour of youth as it provided them employment and education while other parties like BJP and BSP used them as the vote bank. “Look what happened in 2014. One party came and promised 'achche din' for the people. You voted for that party hoping that achche din will come. Where is that achche din? Have you got Rs 15 lakh in your account as promised,” Chief Minister accused while addressing a rally here. He said "there is a party which believed in spending government money in building memorials for dalit icons. The love for the party is so profound that she unveiled her own statue carrying a huge purse". “These parties are back again. They will try to lure people by making false promises. They will try to spread canard against the government. Do not get swayed by these. If you vote once for these parties you will suffer and repent next five years,” Mr Yadav said. He also talked about his recent England visit and said there people voted to come out of EU. Many of the people did not know what will happen if UK comes out of EU and now they are repenting. “Know the value of your vote and vote judiciously,” he said. Chief Minister talked about his government’s performance and asked people to vote for development. “Do not waste your vote. Cast your vote for that party which has given you roads, provided you electricity and given bright future for your children by providing them laptops and scholarships. What Samajwadi Party has done in last four years no other government can dream to do it in four decades,” Mr Yadav said. He also talked about progress the state has made in dairy development, irrigation, state highways and industry sector. “It is holistic development. You just name any sector which has not progressed under Samajwadi Party regime,” he said adding that he will go to the people with his report card and ask them to judge his government and vote accordingly. Mr Yadav was here to inaugurate development schemes. He also distributed wheelchairs to 'divyangs'. He also promised that if SP returns to power it will give university status to AK Post Graduate College. UNI MB PS RJ 2008
