Interactive session on GST tomorrow

The Union Ministry of Revenue will organise an interactive session on the draft model GST (Good and Services Tax) Law here on July 11.

The programme, on FTAPCCI (Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry) premises in Red Hills, Lakdikapul, is scheduled to start at 10.30 a.m.

Urging all stakeholders to participate, a press release from Telangana Commercial Taxes Commissioner’s office said the copy of the draft bill is available on the department’s portal –www.tgct.gov.in/tgportal.

A communication from FTAPCCI said Additional Secretary to the Union Department of Revenue B.N. Sharma, Member–Budget/GST in the CBEC Ram Tirath and various other senior officials would be interacting with trade and industry representatives.

There is no participation fee, but prior registration is required, the trade and industry body said. Mails confirming participation need to be sent tonvslakshmi@fapcci.in.
