Vidisha:Man bangs infant son to death

Bhopal: Irked over his wife's refusal to return home, a man banged his six-month-old son on ground, resulting in death of infant on spot in Vidisha district on Friday.
The incident took place at Barro village of the district. Police said Ramlakhan Mehar, a resident of Tara Sewania, Bhopal, visited Barro village to take his wife Rekha from her parent's home.But, Ramlakhan got annoyed after Rekha refused to come to Bhopal with him, and the man in fit of rage, smashed his six months old son on ground, police said. The infant was rushed to nearby hospital and later referred to Bhopal where he died during treatment, police said. Locals nabbed Ramlakhan and handed him over to police. tnn
