Four LSR girls bag Rs 2 lakh internship

NEW DELHI: Four Lady Shri Ram College students bagged the highest paid summer internship this year of Rs 2 lakh each with a Brazilian company , Embraco. As many as 97 other girls got paid internships and 300 students of the outgoing batch have already done internships with organisations like Ernst and Young, JSW , KPMG, Hannover Re, etc.
The students--Aditi Mishra (BCom), Deboleena Dutta (Economics), Prerna Grover (Statistics) and Ayushi Seth (Journalism)--were part of a consulting project."This was the first time that we hired interns from India. We look forward to such collaborations," said Arup Majumdar, director, Asia Pacific region, Embraco.
