Day 2: BBA, BCA remain favourite study courses

On the second of the admissions in various city colleges, BBA and BCA remained favourite study courses of aspiring students.Non-technical courses including BA (humanities) has many vacant seats in most colleges.

CHANDIGARH: On the second of the admissions in various city colleges, BBA and BCA remained favourite study courses of aspiring students. Non-technical courses including BA (humanities) has many vacant seats in most colleges. All BBA BCA, BSc (honours) Biotech, MCom and MA English seats at GGDSD college were filled on day 2. At DAV College, BBA has only 10 seats left as 110 have been filled up, BCA had 116 seats filled and four remaining, BSc (Biotech honours) and MSc (physics) have no remaining seats.
Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 42, BSc (engineering) and BSc (medical) seats were filled up.
In Post Graduate Government College, Sector 11, all seats of BSc (biotechnology honours) and BSc (medical) seats were occupied. The students have also started to apply for hostel facilities and other accommodations. The day also saw candidates slugging it out to secure a seat in hostels. All hostel seats were filled at GGDSD College day 1.
The second day of admissions at MCM DAV College for Women had all seats occupied. All seats for BSc (medical), BSc (non-medical), BSc (MFT), BBA, MCom and MA (psychology) were filled up with high cut-off percentage. In BSc (computer science), BCA, MA (English), MA (Economics) and MA (Sociology), only a few seats remain. Traffic flow remained smooth on Friday.
