When taking selfie proved fatal

Bhandara: Taking selfie near a dam proved costly as two persons — Sohel Badani (15) and Mohammad Lakhani (34) — met watery grave in Gosikhurd reservoir. Sohel Badani, 15, was taking a selfie near the dam when he lost balance and fell into the water. Mohammad Lakhani, 34, who was standing nearby jumped into the water to save Sohel but he too drowned. Their bodies were fished out on Thursday. Both were residents of Bramhapuri.
No confidence motion against Bhandara ZP CEO
Bhandara: Bhandara Zilla Parishad members unanimously passed a no-confidence motion against chief executive officer Rajendra Nimbalkar in a special meeting held recently.Out of 59 eligible voters 57 voted in favour of the motion while two were absent. In the 59 eligible voters 52 were ZP members and 7 panchayat samiti members.
