Wrestler-actor Nathan Jones WON'T be a part of Nandamuri Balakrishna's Gautamiputra Satakarni!

Currently, the team is at Georgia shooting for the climax sequence after finishing of two schedules in Morocco and Hyderabad.

This film will be Nandamuri's 100th film.

Nandamuri Balakrishna is ready to give his fans his 100th film that promises to be a treat. Titled Gauthamiputra Satakarni, it is based on the life of a 2nd century ruler. The national award winning director Krish Jagarlamudi is the one helming this project. The fim has been shot in Morocco and other exotic locales. Reportedly it's being made on a budget of 45 crore, thus making it one of the most expensive Telugu films. Here's what he said to a portal in reference to the huge budget of the film, "Rajamouli’s Baahubali has opened doors. We can now look at making films that we wouldn’t have dared earlier due to prohibitive budgets." As the director had mentioned to another leading portal," “We had planned the schedules accordingly. The first schedule includes a war scene that appears before the interval and was shot in Morocco. In the second schedule, we shot the war scene that opens the movie in Hyderabad, in an expensive navy vessel setting. Now, with this third war scene in Georgia, we will complete the climax,” This final climax scene boasts of 1000 junior artists as soldiers, 300 horses and 20 chariots.

Actor and wrestler Nathan Jones was to join the team but unfortunately that didn't worked out. "Although we approached him for an important role, things didn’t pan out the way we’d expected. Hence, we couldn’t rope him in,” said producer Y Rajeev Reddy according to reports. Nathan was supposed to play the Chief of Greeks in the battle against Satavahanas that was headed by Balakrishna. The wrestler-actor was previously seen in a Tamil film Bhooloham. He's also playing the antagonist in a Bollywood film - A Flying Jatt which also stars Tiger Shroff.

Balakrishna's 100 film also features Shriya Saran, Kabir Bedi and Hema Malini. The music is composed by the brilliant Devi Sri Prasad.
