CFSL confirms conversations b/w Ex- Principal Secretary Kumar, other accused in Rs 50 cr scam
New Delhi, Jul 8 (UNI) In more trouble for Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi government, Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) today confirmed conversations between arrested Ex-Principal Secretary Rajendra Kumar and other accused in Rs 50 crore scam, sources said. "Voice samples of the accused, including Kumar, were sent to CFSL during investigation. Around a dozen audio clips clearly establish his role in this scam,'' sources in Central Bureau of Investigation said. On Monday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's Principal Secretary Rajendra Kumar, along with four others, were arrested by the CBI on corruption charges. Kumar faces allegations that while working in different positions between 2007 and 2014, he organised crucial contracts worth Rs 50 crore related to Delhi government from different departments to private company Endeavour Systems Pvt Ltd, which he promoted along with his associates. Shortly after the arrest of Kumar, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, decrying political vendetta, accused Narendra Modi-led central government of paralysing the administration of the national capital. Earlier, on December 15 last year, the CBI had conducted a raid on Rajendra Kumar's office at the Delhi Secretariat. 'Furious' over raid on Secretariat, Mr Kejriwal then attacked the Prime Minister in a series of tweets where he called Mr Modi a 'psychopath' and alleged that the real target of the CBI raid was he himself.
