Chorao villagers seek MLA’s help as rain destroys bypass

Bicholim: The villagers from Sadeti Chorao are facing acute inconvenience as the new bypass road which has been constructed temporarily in order to undertake repair and widening work of a main road and a bridge has been totally washed away with heavy downpour. Villagers from this area have, therefore, requested local MLA Anant Shet to look into the matter and repair the bypass road urgently in order to avoid accidents.
It may be recalled that the state government authorities have undertaken road widening work of the main road at Sadeti Chorao along with repairs of a rivulet existing on this road. As this main road is closed for traffic, the authorities constructed the new bypass road.
