The Bombay High Court Thursday refused to grant temporary bail to Ateef Mulla, who has been convicted and sentenced to 10 years’ rigorous imprisonment in the Mulund blast case of 2002. Ateef had sought the bail to tend to his minor son suffering from thalassemia.
“At this stage, we find that there is no case made out for grant of temporary bail to the applicant (Ateef). We shall consider the bail application on merits on July 13,” the court said.
