Bone Biologics names new chief medical advisor

Bone Biologics Corporation has named Scott D. Boden, MD, as its new chief medical advisor.

Boden, who is also chief medical editor of orthopedic surgery for Spine Surgery Today, is a tenured professor of orthopedic surgery at the Emory University School of Medicine and is director of the Emory Orthpaedics & Spine Center. According to a press release from Bone Biologics, he has authored more than 175 peer-reviewed articles on spine and basic science topics. Boden is also co-editor for Seminars in Spine Surgery, a deputy editor of SPINE and a reviewer for Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research and the European Spine Journal. He has received many awards and has recently served as president of the American Orthopaedic Association.
