Thieves break into Mandsaur MLA's house
INDORE: Unknown thieves broke into the residence of a BJP MLA in Mandsaur town and decamped with Rs 20-25 lakh and gold ornaments on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday. MLA Yashpal Singh Sisodia was visiting Indore when the crime took place. Soon after the theft was reported on Thursday morning, he rushed to Mandsaur to take stock of the situation, Mandsaur police said that the thieves made away with Rs 20-25 lakh and gold ornaments.
Police suspected that the theft was carried out by someone who was aware about the house as only those two rooms were touched where the cash was kept and the thieves did not even touch other two rooms.
Police officials took finger prints from the house and even used sniffer dogs to trace the culprits. A case of theft was registered and further investigation was on.
