All westbound lanes of Highway 401 have reopened at Islington Avenue after an overnight collision involving a police cruiser.
According to a tweet by Ontario Provincial Police, an officer pulled over to assist a stranded motorist in the area when the police car was struck by another vehicle.
It is not clear if anyone was injured in the collision or if any charges will be laid.
