New SCR officials take charge

Arjun Mundiya and N.V. Ramana Reddy have assumed charge as Chief Mechanical Engineer and Chief Personnel Officer of the South Central Railway, respectively. While the former took over on July 4, the latter entered his chambers on Wednesday.

While Mr. Mundiya is an officer of the 1983 batch of Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers, Mr. Reddy belongs to the 1986 batch of Indian Railway Personnel Service, according to a press release.

Mr. Mundiya has earlier served as Chief Workshops Engineer and Divisional Railway Manager (Sambalpur) on East Coast Railway. Mr. Reddy has held various positions including Member Secretary, Railway Recruitment Board and while on deputation to Andhra Pradesh, as Special Secretary-General Administration, a press release added.
