In the sea of go-fast machines that make up Monaco's overly dense supercar population, we get to see fishes that have VIP background from time to time. We're here to show you the latest example of this, which comes from the modded Porsche Carrera GT in the video below.
The supercar, which is among the few Carrera GT touched by German aftermarket developer Gemballa, is actually called Gemballa Mirage GT. The 661 hp machine was spotted parading its V10 through Monaco earlier this week, with its new owner fully enjoying the German charms.

We're talking about a new owner because this is Porsche that used to belong for former F1 driver Adrian Sutil, with the high-octane beast having traded hands last summer. Speaking of which, the supped-up Carrera GT, which had a mere 12,000 miles on its odo, was listed for a whopping $780,000, making it over 70 percent more expensive than the base car, if we can call a CGT that.

Speaking of which, we'll remind you the German aftermarket developer massaged the 5.7-liter V10 in the middle of the car, taking it from 612 to 661 hp - keep in mind that the senior Porsche halo car doesn't come with electronic stability control, so we're dealing with the handful type of driving experience here.

From an upgrade destined for the carbon clutch to the extensive carbon fiber package applied to the supercar, the aftermarket company put quite a lot of effort into the job, hence the price premium mentioned above.

The Carrera GT was already one of the best-sounding supercars of all time, with the custom exhaust present on this model meaning the resulting voice is nothing short of heavenly. And, even though the traffic means the driver doesn't get to flog the machine in the clip below, you'll still be able to enjoy the aural side of the experience.
