Raja Chandas Kelor Kirti is a humorous take on relationships shared by todays young generation. Starring Dev, Jisshu U Sengupta, Nusrat Jahan, Mimi Chakraborty, Sayantika Banerjee, Ankush and Koushani Mukherjee, the film shows the fun-filled ride of a bunch of youngsters. The story revolves around three fun-loving couples, who find themselves in utter chaos and confusion when an enchanting woman enters their lives.
I could complete the film within a month with so many stars just because each one cooperated well and tried to give it their best, said the director while sharing his experience of working with each character of the film . Excerpts :
kelor kirti

Dev: He plays Guru, a Casanova, who is a favourite among girls and tries to solve everyones problems. Guru is much like Dev in reality a lovable and trustworthy guy. This is my third film with him and hes getting better with every passing day. Despite being a superstar, he adjusted himself well.
Mimi: She plays Rima, a controlling housewife every man dreads. She always suspects her husband of being unfaithful and keeps the humour alive throughout the film. Mimi knows how to improvise on her character and her sense of punctuality is praiseworthy.
Ankush: He essays Apurbo, an easy-going guy, who is a journalist by profession. He gets involved in all the situational comedies by default. His comedy timing is brilliant and he will go a long way for his dedication. I would like to experiment with Ankush a little more in the near future.
Koushani: She is Anuskha, a loving girlfriend who knows how to keep her partner within limits. She belongs to a rich family and falls in love with Apurbo. After that her life starts revolving around him. I feel Koushani is a lambi race ka ghoda as she has all the qualities needed to become a successful commercial heroine.

Sayantika: She plays Priya, a kind-hearted woman and a dedicated wife that every man wants in his life. But, she also keeps abreast of all thats happening around her. A lot of women would be able to relate to her character. Sayantikas first film, Target, was with me and its overwhelming to see her mature as an actor over the years.
Nusrat: Nusrat is nothing less than a diva in real life and she plays Urvashi, the centre of attraction, in the film. Essaying the role of a seductive bar dancer, she is linked to every man in the film. I cant reveal much but I have justified her character in the end. I think Nusrat is drop-dead gorgeous!
Jisshu: I wonder why Jisshu didnt act in a commercial film for the past eight years! His comic timing is excellent and his behaviour makes him so adorable. He plays Joy, a businessman who runs a newspaper. And its because of him that all the kelor kirti happens in the film!
