LAHORE - Most of the top leaders, including Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Asif Ali Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, will celebrate Eidul Fitr outside the country.

President Mamnoon Hussain who was in Saudi Arabia to peform Umrah returned to the federal capital on Tuesday afternoon. Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and former president Asif Ali Zardari will celebrate Eid in London while National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq will celebrate Eidul Fitr along with his family in Germany. Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar is also out of the country. He will celebrate Eid in Dubai.

According to a media report, 13 members of the Sharif family, including , Maryam, the daughter of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, MNA Hamza Shehbaz, Salman Shehbaz and their families, have also for left for London to celebrate Eid withj Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. They will return home along with him a couple of days after Eid, the exact date for which is subject to the final check-up and tests of the PM. Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif will spend the Eid days at his Raiwind residence where he will also offer the Eid prayers.

Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah will celebrate Eid at his native town in Sukkur, Senator Aitzaz Ahsan in Lahore and Interior Minister Nisar Ali Khan at his constituency in Taxila. PTI Chairman Imran Khan will spend the Eid day in Lahore. Media reports, however, say he may leave for London to celebrate the event with his sons. PML-Q leaders, Ch Shujaat Hussain and Ch Pervez Elahi will celebrate the religious festival in Gujrat.

Most of the political leaders who had gone to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah are returning home. They include JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rashid, Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Murtaza Abbasi, Federal Minister for Housing and Works Akram Durrani, Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Senator Sirajul Haq, PML-N MNA Mian Abdul Manan, PPP Senator Aijaz Dharma, JI MNA Ayesha Syed, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, ex JUI-F MNA Hafiz Hussain Ahmed, Senator Taj Muhammad Afridi from Fata and his brother MNA Shah Ji Gul Afridi.
