Bids for the BPB fund 2016 -2017 are open
The British High Commission invites project proposals for its bilateral programme budget (BPB)
We are looking for:

Initiatives that contribute to addressing crime and security and justice reform: This includes drugs, human trafficking, child abuse and corruption.

Initiatives that promote respect for human rights: Priority will be given to projects that support the abolition of the death penalty, gender equality, LGBT rights and child protection.

Initiatives that support an improved environment for business: Particularly initiatives that promote openness and tackle corruption, governance and transparency.

Initiatives that support diversification of the economy.
-
Initiatives that promotes climate change and clean energy solutions.
-
Activity that supports the promotion of the UK culture, tourism and education in Trinidad & Tobago.
What happens next?
If you have a project you would like us to consider, please complete the Project Concept Form by 12 July.
We are keen to provide funding for projects with a budget of up to £10,000/ TT100,000. Projects above this limit are not ruled out, but are less likely to receive funding.
What will happen once I have submitted my bid?

Your proposal will be reviewed and, if we think your project is a strong fit, we will ask you to complete a longer application for funding.

The deadline for submissions of the longer application is 24th July.

If we agree to fund your project, we will put in place arrangements for the disbursement of funds and the monitoring and evaluation of the project. These arrangements will include submitting quarterly project and financial reports.
