The JK Students of Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura organised “Iftar” party to celebrate Ramadan. Hundreds of B.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA and Polytechnic Diploma students of Aryans Group participated. The students distributed free Iftar boxes containing dates, Bananas, Feerini and juice to the people on the occasion helping them break their fast.Students namely Jahangir, M. Shafiq, Rafiq Ahmad, Adil, Kashif along with the staff members namely Ishfaq, Asma, Yasir, Amreena, Sharoof etc took the lead in organizing the Iftaar and actively participated in it.While talking on the occasion, Ishfaq, Faculty, Aryans Group said that majority of students studying in Aryans are from the valley. He added that earlier also, the JK students of Aryans celebrated Eid Ul Fitr in a full swing with staff and management at Aryans campus situated at Chandigarh-Patiala Highway, Near Chandigarh. It is to be mentioned that Iftar is the meal eaten by Muslims to break their fast after sunset every day during Ramadan. While fasting, they eat in the morning before sunrise and then don't eat all day until the sun sets. It is very important to breakfast at the one particular time that the calendar says. 

Many Muslims believe that feeding someone Iftar as a form of charity is very rewarding.Ishfaq further said that Aryans is becoming the first choice of JK Students in North India. Over 1200 students from various parts of JK are already studying in Aryans under different courses. These students have achieved many milestones in the field of academics, sports, cultural, innovations etc. In Academics, these students have won laurels for the Group by securing top positions in PTU Merit list.Asma, faculty, Aryans Group speaking on the occasion said that the Group and the students are fully devoted towards the innovations. Four Kashmiri girls were honored by CM Punjab for developing Aryans Android App in a gathering of more than 50,000 students; Life Saving Glove developed by four Aryans Engineering JK Students has got the appreciation from Fortis Hospital; Aryans Save Kashmir App was launched by Technical Education Minister, Punjab, Sh. Madan Mohan Mittal.Recently 5 engineering students of JK studying at Aryans College have developed a unique GPS and GSM based Safety Helmet. The project was launched and applauded by Governor, Punjab & Haryana, Sh. Kaptan Singh Solanki. This innovative project of the Aryans Kashmiri students aims to provide timely first aid facility in case disaster happens at construction/ mining/ industrial sites.
