Police identified the two surrendered Maoists as Sunita Mundari (20) of Jharkhand and Sanjay Munda (20) of K Balanga area in Sundergarh district. Both of them were involved in various Maoist violence since 2010, including an exchange of fire between the Maoists and the security personnel at Gurundia on June 28 last.
