Celebs and their monsoon plans
The petrichor, the fresh and moist breeze, the vibrant canvas of umbrella colours ��� all these are gentle reminders that the monsoon has finally arrived. Ektu late, like most Bengalis are, but the downpour is here to stay for a while. And given the popular mood, we thought it is nice to have a little chitchat with a few of our Tolly celebs about their monsoon favourites.

Clothes: Wears bright colours to lighten up her spirit. ���Nothing can beat printed shorts and tees teamed with colourful flipflops during this
season.���
Songs: Croons to Tip tip barsa pani from Mohra. ���What a song! Akshay Kumar looks so hot. Tip tip��� is the
ultimate romantic song to listen to with your beloved while you gaze at rainfall through the windowpane.���
Food: Sips into bhanrer cha with a bowlful of puffed rice, telebhaja and chillies.
Pastime: Sitting by the window with a mug of hot coffee and reading a horror book.
Sayantika Banerjee
Clothes: Prefers shorts and racer backs with bandana to add a dash of colour.

Song: It has to be Rim jhim gire sawan for her and she ���has to listen to the song with the first downpour.���
Food: Will gorge on khichdi and ilish fry for breakfast, lunch and dinner. ���Diet has to take a backseat on a rainy day.���
Pastime: Heads out for an aimless long drive with her beloved���

Clothes: Picks mid-length dresses with
lovely scarfs.
Song: Sears to Sawan barse tarse dil. ���This is the song I keep listening to in monsoon.���
Food: ���Can there be anything else other than muri-telebhaja?���
Pastime: Loves to watch horror flicks cocooning in a comforter.
Parno Mittra
Clothes: It is strictly palazzos and crop tops for her. ���And the material has to be linen.���
Song: Her all-time favourite is Ironic by
Alanis Morissette.
Food: Anything to do with humble ilish. ���Be it fry, bhapa, with mustard ��� just anything!���
Pastime: Having endless cups of coffee and reading a book while ���rain drops hit my face.���
Konineeca Banerjee
Clothes: Bringing back the sultry Bollywood, she loves to be spotted in
chiffon saris ��� blue or sea green ���
in rain.
Song: Brishti brishti brishti, e kon oporup srishti is her favourite. ���My maa sings that song so well.���
Food: All types of bhaja ��� dim bhaja, papad bhaja, tele bhaja, illish maach bhaja with khichdi.
Pastime: She loves to get drenched in the rain and hence runs to her balcony to enjoy the first splash.
Sohini Sarkar
Clothes: She loves to wear saris while jazzing it up with white flowers on a rainy day. ���Isn���t that sexy? Sari jodi pori tobe phool must.��� Otherwise she sports hot pants with a white shirt.
Song: Incessant rain for couple of days depresses her. ���During that time I listen to peppy numbers to brighten up my mood. However, Ek ladki bheegi bhaagi si is one of the most romantic songs I prefer to hear on a rainy day.���
Food: Khichdi and ilish maach bhaja. Period.
pastime: Sits in her balcony and watches the rain with fave songs playing in the background. ���I love it when the rain keeps splashing on my face.���
Riya Sen
Clothes: Mostly seen in denim shorts and linen tops during monsoon.
Song: If it rains, it has to be Wicked games.
Food: Nibbles dark chocolates and brings Thai in her diet plan in the months of rain.
Pastime: She loves to look at the pitter-patter
raindrops through the window of her villa in Goa.
