Conception de Tuem says he has the answers

Following its June 26 release at Ravindra Bhavan, Vasco, Conception de Tuem’s third tiatr, ‘Answer’, is set to enthral audiences at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao on Thursday, July 7, at 7.30pm and on Sunday, July 10, at 3.30pm.
“Apart from the political satire songs that abound in ‘Answer’, the tiatr will highlight ‘good’ development works by those presently in power.It will also portray the life of tiatrists who criticize politicians,” the director said.
‘Answer’ has a total of 12 songs with music provided by ‘Macroy and his Melodians’. The cast comprises Rons Tavares, Anil-Olga, Michael de Chandor, Piosan, Valencio de Caranzalem, Bladwin, Benzer, Camilo, Cyril, Deepak, Tracy Dias, Sharon, comedians Allwyn, Seby and Sonali, and the director Conception, himself.
While lighting effects are handled by Anthony de Ambajim, stage setting is entrusted to Nigel. Conception, who debuted on the tiatr stage five years ago, said he is immensely grateful to the late William de Curtorim for having mentored him. He has staged two tiatrs so far, ‘Maim Pai Assosor’ and ‘Bailek Dukh Kumarik Sukh’. While the former was staged in his home town, Tuem, the latter was presented in auditoria across Goa.
