This was a reference to Dr K N Pandita’s write up, ‘Indo Pak dialogue showcasing’. The learned writer among other facts has genuinely praised Mehbooba Mufti and remarked her individual approach from the tradition of Kashmir leadership to bring the onus of their failure to the door steps of New Delhi. She forcefully roared in her first address as Chief Minister in the Assembly on 28 May, 2016 “Put your hands on your hearts and tell me if we can ask the migrants to return to their native places, when our political workers are living in security in hotels of Srinagar.” She displayed respect of different faiths without political gimmicks un-like her counterparts of various other parties.
On June 28, 2016 she paid obeisence at the three famous major shrines, Makdum Sahib, Sharika temple Hariparbat and Gurdwara Chatti-Padshahi. She sincerely wants to maintain the spirit of Kashmiriyat. She is guiding Kashmiri masses with political positivity while others misguided them in the past. Hatered against Indian-nation in a planned manner is the creation of these very vested interests and double standard leaders.
Mehbooba Mufti assumed power after unexpected delay which shows she did a lot of work to go through all pros and cons of the “Kashmir issue”. We can call her a shrewd politician.
