Official: FC Barcelona sign Denis Suarez from Villarreal

Barcelona, July 4: Spanish La Liga giants FC Barcelona have completed their first signing of the season as they have successfully roped in Villarreal CF midfielder Denis Suarez.

The defending La Liga champions confirmed the news on twitter as well as on their official site.

The club released an official statement on their website which read: "FC Barcelona have decided to exercise the buy back clause for the player Denis Suárez, currently at Villarreal CF, which will see the player join the Club for the next four seasons with an option for a fifth depending on the number of appearances in the fourth season.

"FC Barcelona have deposited 3,250,000 euros for the right to buy back the player.

"The buy out clause for the players has been set at 50 million Euros.Denis Suárez will undergo a medical on Tuesday and at 2.00pm CET he will be outside the Club offices for a short photo session.

"The signing of the contract and the official presentation of the footballer as a new FC Barcelona player is programmed for Wednesday:

At 11.00am, signing of the contract in the first tier of the stand at Camp Nou.
At 11.30am, presentation in the Ricard Maxenchs press room.
At 1.00pm, photo session on the field at Camp Nou. The general public can access the stadium for the photo session between 12.30pm and 1.30pm"

Denis Suarez, 22 is originally product of Barcelona's youth system. He played for Barceolna 'B' in 2013/14. He was later sent to Sevilla on loan and then Villarreal.

Ar Barcelona B the player has scored 7 goals. Suarez's addition will be surely benefit the team's midfield and strengthen the squad.
