HP takes over ESIC Medical college; signs MoU

Shimla, Jul 4 (UNI) The state govenrment today took over the ESIC Medical Colleges near Sundernagar in Mandi district as a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the state and Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) regarding the transfer of ESIC medical college.
The MoU was signed in presence of Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, Health Minister Kaul Singh Thakur and Panchayati Raj Minister Anil Sharma.
The agreement was signed by Principal Secretary, Health Prabodh Saxena, on behalf of the government of Himachal Pradesh and ESIC Regional Director, Ashok Chandra and Senior State Medical Commissioner, ESIC, Dr Gunjan Gupta, on behalf of ESIC.
