Senna Secure Mahindra Racing’s Second Podium In Formula E
London hosted the ninth and tenth round of the Formula E 2016 Championship. Sole Indian-based manufacturer in the electric racing competition has secured its second podium finish. Bruno Senna secured second place for the Mahindra Racing Formula E Team.
Previous podium finish was secured by Nick Heidfeld in the 2016 Beijing ePrix. Altogether, both drivers secured a single podium finish during 2016. Together for Mahindra Racing, the duo has handed them two podium finishes in the 2016 Formula E Championship.
Nico Prost driving for Renault e.Dams won round nine of the London ePrix. It was a historic podium finish as the commentators got another chance to announce that Prost and Senna, one-two. Jean-Eric Vergne secure third place in his DS Virgin Racing machine.
Teammate Nick Heidfeld in the second Mahindra Racing Formula E machine took eighth place. Mahindra Racing is proud of the podium finish, which displays that their race package is competitive. We hope to see the Indian manufacturer on the podium more frequently in the near future.
