'Reputation' brings stars to Llangollen

The 70th International Eisteddfod takes place in Llangollen in Denbighshire from Tuesday.

Headliners include Bryn Terfel, American opera star Kate Aldrich and Jools Holland, who is also the eisteddfod's vice president.

But hundreds more singers and dancers from around the world, as well as Wales will be performing all week.

As last minute rehearsals take place, Eilir Owen Griffiths, the eisteddfod's musical director, says its reputation enables it to attract some of the biggest names to perform.
