Parikar assured Haryana CM for military medical college on the pattern of AFMC Pune

Chandigarh, Jul 3(UNI) Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar today assured the Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal, that a military medical college on the pattern of AFMC Pune would be constructed on the 30 acres of land in Panchkula available with the state government.
He also assured that the demand regarding relaxation in the recruitment of soldiers from Morni area would be fulfilled.
Mr Parrikar gave his in-principal approval for setting up a medical college and other projects when Mr Manohar Lal called on him at his residence in New Delhi to discuss construction of the proposed Army airport and Maintenance Repairing Overhaul (MRO) hub in Hisar.
