BatteryDekho.com launched; consumers to get power of making ‘informed purchasing decision’

Auto portal CarDekho.com has launched BatteryDekho.com that claims to be India’s only automobile battery research and discovery portal.

According to the company, the aim is to build a comprehensive ecosystem for vehicle ownership and make battery discovery convenient for the Indian consumer.

The development will allow the users to search and compare specification and pricing of batteries.

The site claims to have more than 250 batteries of top brands which will be compatible to 500 car and bike brands.

Speaking on the launch, Ankur Agarwal, CEO-car owner business, CarDekho.com, commented, “After gaining clear leadership in the new car and user car segments, we are focusing on strengthening new car and user care segments, we are focussing on strengthening the core elements of vehicle ownership for the Indian consumer. Being the only dedicated automotive battery research and discovery portal for consumers in India, we are confident that this develoopment will aid users in making an informed purchase decision.”

The company also launched its tyre ownership vertical TyreDekho.com in May 2015 to streamline the process of tyre purchase through content, reviews and research tools.

The Indian battery replacement industry is currently worth INR 3500 crores.
