Report: Rockets agree to four-year, $53 million deal with Eric Gordon

The Rockets are making a splash on Saturday, picking up shooters to plug into Mike D’Antoni’s offense. Hours after agreeing to a four-year, $80 million deal with Ryan Anderson, they reached a four-year, $53 million agreement with his former Pelicans teammate Eric Gordon, according to The Vertical‘s Adrian Wojnarowski:

The big question mark with this move is Gordon’s health — he’s had recurring knee problems over the years, and played just 45 games last season. But he’s still an excellent outside shooter when healthy. Between Anderson, Gordon and James Harden, the new-look Rockets will have plenty of scoring and virtually no defense. They’ll be fun to watch, if nothing else, and could win a lot of games if everyone stays healthy.
