Youth held
Pollachi West Police arrested M. Hari Prasath (20) of Kumaran Nagar in Pollachi on Friday night on the charges of stabbing a man over a petty fight.
According to the police, the victim K. Rajasekar (38) was standing near a pushcart eatery run by his relative Kathirvel in Pollachi Town. Inquiries revealed that Hari asked for an omelette but there was no egg available there at that time. Upset over the reply Hari pushed the cart away. When Rajasekar tried to question him, the youth stabbed him a knife. Rajasekar was admitted at the Pollachi Government Hospital. The police said that he was out of danger.
