Court allows Madani to visit ailing mother

Jailed PDP leader Abdul Nazir Madani, the chief accused in the 2008 Bengaluru serial blasts case, has been permitted to visit his ailing mother in Kerala by the special court, that is hearing the case.

Bengaluru: Jailed PDP leader Abdul Nazir Madani, the chief accused in the 2008 Bengaluru serial blasts case, has been permitted to visit his ailing mother in Kerala by the special court, that is hearing the case.
The court order states that Madani will be allowed to visit his mother from July 4 to 12, but in the company of a Karnataka police escort.

Madani had moved the special court after the Supreme Court cleared the deck for his visit on Thursday, but had stipulated that he make a necessary appeal to the special court.
