Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jul 2 2016 8:54PM Assam govt ready to ask Centre to change AIIMS siteGuwahati, Jul 2(UNI) As resentment in Raha in central Assam's Nagaon district grew over award of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to a different site in the state, state Health minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sharma today said the state government was ready to ask the Centre to reconsider its choice of site. Talking to reporters here, Dr Sharma said, "If needed, the state government can write to the Centre to change its choice of site for the AIIMS in the state.
