"Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" lead actress Divyanka Tripathi is all set to tie the knot with her co-star Vivek Dahiya on July 8 in her hometown Bhopal. Although the actress is busy completing her shoot before leaving for the wedding, considering that she is the most important part of the show, the makers could only grant her 10 days leave.

According to reports, to make it up for Divyanka's absence, the makers have churned out an interesting track wherein her character Ishita will be seen battling for life in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU). An India Forums report said that in the upcoming episodes, the Bhalla family would be dining in a restaurant when some goon would threaten Raman (Karan Patel) by pointing a gun at Ishita and demand a ransom from him.

"The goons will point a gun at Raman and Ishita which will scare out Raman, who will agree to fulfil their demand. However, Ishita will object this which will irk Raman. The tensed circumstance will turn humorous when an annoyed Raman will ask the goons to shoot Ishita due to her objections. The track will soon end with the hero beating up the goons and getting his lady love out of the goon's clutches," a source told India Forums.

While Raman will succeed in rescuing Ishita from the clutches of the goons, the incident will leave Ishita severely injured. This will mark the beginning of another track wherein Ishita will be admitted to the hospital, where she will be seen battling for life in the ICU.

The makers hope that Ishita's near-death sequence will not just make up for Divyanka's absence but also manage to keep the viewers engrossed with the intense drama, making them wonder if Ishita will recover from the injury.

"Divyanka is the most important part of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, she has to be there in every important scene. So, even from the ratings' point of view, the makers wanted some intense drama around her short exit. Finally, they zeroed in on a near-death sequence," a source told SpotboyE.
