Former Wales international Jack Collison says Chris Coleman's side will fancy their chances of winning Euro 2016 after they booked a semi-final clash against Portugal.
Wales produced a sensational performance in Lille on Friday night as they came from behind to defeat Belgium 3-1, with captain Ashley Williams, Hal Robson-Kanu and Sam Vokes scoring on the biggest night in the history of Welsh football.
The result means Wales, who are competing at their first major tournament since the 1958 World Cup, will face Portugal in Lyon next Wednesday, a match that will pit Real Madrid team-mates Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo against one another.
"A semi-final of a European Championship, sounds great! Two of the best players in the world going head-to-head, it's going to be an incredible game," Collison, capped 15 times by Wales, told Sky Sports News HQ.
"Wales are going to fancy their chances. Portugal have not hit those high notes and have not won a game in normal time yet.
"Wales are the top scorers in the entire tournament (10) now after their three against Belgium. They are going to get over this and there will be a bit of disbelief, but they will think they can go on and win this."
Collison also heaped huge praise on Coleman for continuing the good work of the late Gary Speed and overcoming a tricky start to his reign as Wales manager.
"Gary Speed was the man that came in and gave these young players the belief they could qualify for a major tournament and that was his goal from day one," he added.
"He looked at his squad and said we've got a good bunch here, we've been through some bad times, now I am going to bring the good times.
"He started these players on this journey and if you look at the team Chris Coleman has got, Chris Gunter on 60 caps, Gareth Bale on 50 or so caps, these are young men that are very experienced at international level.
"Chris Coleman, well it was tricky at the start and four years ago we were so far off this, but look what he's built. He's continued the good work, added his special little touches and this team is now so good to watch."
