Woman cuts private parts of ex-boyfriend to avoid 'rape'

Bhopal: A 28-year old woman cut the privates of her ex-boyfriend over an alleged attempt to rape in Anuppur district on Friday. The youth, however, alleged that the woman was insisting on keeping the relation with him and upon his denial attacked him.
Police have registered case of attempt to murder against the woman and booked the youth for rape.
According to the police, Ajay Manjhi (32), resident of Jamuna Colliery area of the district, had a romantic relationship with the woman.They both knew each other from the past 10 years. They were married to other people.
The woman called Ajay to pick her up from Kotma town on Friday. From there, they travelled together on a motorcycle. While they were crossing a jungle, the woman attacked him with a knife after some altercation. She then went to Balumara police station and informed the cops about the attack alleging that the man has been raping her for several years.
“We have registered cases against both of them and the matter is being investigated. The privates of the youth have not been chopped off but have been injured grievously. Besides he has also sustained injuries in his chin and is serious,” SP Anuppur, Anurag Sharma told TOI.
