District Development Commissioner, Baramulla Dr. Nasir Ahmad Naqash, today convened a meeting of officers of various departments to review the arrangements put in place by the District administration for Shab-i-qadr and Eid.During the meeting the DDC stressed upon the officers to provided every facility to the people on the eve of Eid and Shab-i-Qadir. He directed the PHE and PDD authorities to ensure uninterrupted water and power supply. He instructed to Municipal authorities to ensure cleanliness around the Mosques and Eid Gahs.
Directing the CA&PD and Tehsildars to ensure adequate supply of essential commodities and conduct regular inspection of markets in their respective areas for curbing black-marketing, hoardings and illegal profiteering. He also directed the health and R&B departments to provide medical facilities with availability of ambulance and repair all the link roads of mosques and Eid gahs of the town.The Meeting was attended by Joint director planning, Chief Medical officer, SDM Sopore Pattan, Tangmarg, Tehsildars, Engineers, from R&B,PHE and various officers from different departments.
