Isang araw matapos bumaba sa Malacanang, sinampahan ng kaso sa Office of the Ombudsman si dating Pangulong Benigno Aquino III kaugnay ng Mamasapano incident.
Kasama sa 44 kaso ng reckless imprudence resulting to multiple homicide sina dating Philippine National Police chief Alan Purisima at dating PNP Special Action Force director Getulio Napeñas Jr.
Ang reklamo ay inihain nina Erlinda Alliaga, ina ni PO3 Robert Alliaga, ama ni PO2 Epgraim Mejia na si Warlito at ng Volunteer Against Crime and Corruption na pinangunahan ni Dante Jimenez.
“Aquino’s criminal negligence consisted of planning Oplan Exodus with gross and inexcusable neglect and thereafter approved the operation knowing it was flawed,” saad ng reklamo.
Hindi lamang umano pinayagan ni Aquino ang Oplan Exodus kundi hinayaan pa nito si Purisima na pangunahan ang pagpaplano kahit na ito ay sinuspendi ng Ombudsman noong panahong iyon.
“Verily, it would serve well our country and its people for a formal criminal inquiry to be made in court against the respondents, to make a hammer fall where it may, so to speak, and mete justice for the deaths of the 44 patriots, whose names are written above and in the hearts of every Filipino who has grieved not only for the loss of the said police officers, but for the loss of decent leadership in out country for the past six years.”
Namatay ang 44 miyembro ng SAF na pumasok sa kuta ng international terrorist na si Marwan noong Enero 25, 2015.
