Stocks of the pharma major Strides Shasun closed 4.25 per cent up at Rs 1176.50 after the US health regulator completed inspection of the company’s oral dosage facility at Bengaluru without any adverse observations.

Mahanagar Gas Ltd made a stellar debut on the bourses on Friday and closed 23.35 per cent up at Rs 519.30 on NSE against the issue price of Rs 421.
