The manufacturing sector in Taiwan bounced back up into expansion territory in June, the latest survey from Nikkei showed on Friday with a manufacturing PMI score of 50.5.
That's up from 48.5, and it moves back above the boom-or-bust line of 50 that separates expansion from contraction.
It also marks the first expansion in three months.
Individually, total new business fell at a softer pace as new export work stabilized and input inflation slowed.
