Thane's Rohan Thool and Rahul Kane emerged as the winners of the Maharashtra State Sub-junior Badminton tournament in the boys' doubles category.
The tournament was held recently at Kalidas Sports complex in Mulund, where 750 players from 26 districts of Maharashtra participated. In the under-15 doubles category, Thool and Kane beat Pune's Atharva Aatav and Parth Dharmadhikari in the semi-finals with a score of 21-14, 21-16. They faced Sudhanshu Bhure from Nagpur and Parth Ghube from Pune in the finals and beat them with a score of 21-16, 21-18.

Even in the singles category, Thool got a medal, but this time it was a silver after he lost in the final.
