An Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is affecting Visayas and Mindanao, the government weather bureau reported.

Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will be experienced over Visayas, Mindanao and MIMAROPA, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the southwest to southeast will prevail over Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao and coming from the southeast over the rest of Luzon. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate. — BAP, GMA News
