‘OITNB’ star: Airline shocked I fly first class

Apparently not even a hit TV show and a Tony nomination are enough to convince airline employees that Danielle Brooks flies first class.

“I hate when gate agents look at me like I’ve never flown first class and say ‘You’re in first class, lucky you!’ Really tho,” the “Orange Is the New Black” star tweeted on Thursday.

The Juilliard-educated actress, who was nominated for a Tony this year for her work in “The Color Purple,” didn’t elaborate any further on the incident, but many of her furious followers believed her race was the root of the remarks — and offered tips on dealing with the disrespect.

“Next time go diva on them and give them your best (and loudest) DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!” wrote one fan, while another said, “ew casual racism??? Go off girl.”

The 26-year-old’s co-star Matt McGorry offered his support with one word: “Ugh.”

A request for comment from Brooks’ rep wasn’t immediately returned.
