After playing a Gujarati in several shows, veteran actress Sarita Joshi will be seen as a South Indian lady in Govinda Govinda, the second story of 'Khidki' on SAB TV. The show revolves around stories sent in by viewers all over India, which are then adapted for the small screen, with a set of actors portraying different characters. In this episode, Amma (Sarita Joshi) has been unwell for a long time, but her frequent trips to the ICU has not dampened her spirit.
She returns to her ancestral house with a renewed energy and takes charge of everything, which leaves her family dismayed as they are interested in her property. One day Amma announces that she will make her will after she takes a trip to Tirupati with the family. She also puts another condition — that they should travel by train. The family members soon set out on a roller-coaster ride of misadventures as they try their best to fulfil Amma’s dream.

Says Sarita, “'Khidki' is a unique comedy show, which will depict stories sent by viewers, thereby making it special. I am looking forward to becoming a part of the SAB TV family and working again with our producer, JD Majethia.”
'Khidki' airs Monday to Friday at 9.30 pm on SAB TV.
