The actor is truly on an award winning spree

When it comes to delivering style, charm and quality performance on screen, only a few actors exist in Telugu film industry who can deliver all three. But one actor who delivers all these qualities very effortlessly is superstar Mahesh Babu. This second son of legendary actor Krishna has now become so big that people identify Krishna as father of Mahesh Babu and not the other way around. Of course, when an actor is at the top of his game, awards are bound to follow. But in case of Mahesh Babu, the awards are pouring in. Recently, the Brahmotsavam actor when the Best Actor Award in Telugu for Srimanthudu at the Britannia Filmfare Awards South. The interesting part was he didn't even attend the ceremony and yet he walked away with the top honour. The actor has yet again won the Best Actor Award in Telugu for Srimanthudu, which came out in 2015. The Koratala Siva film has given him a lot of accolades in the past one year. Also, while Mahesh winning the Best Actor Award again is a really big deal, it becomes an even more incredible achievement when considering that this makes it third time that the Prince of Tollywood has won this title. Of course, this achievement is not lost on his fans, who have taken to Twitter in large numbers to celebrate the third SIIMA win for their superstar. Mahesh won the first SIIMA award in 2012 for Dookudu. Then two years later in 2014, he won it yet again for Srikanth Addala's Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. Now finally, after two years again in 2016, he has bagged the SIIMA for Srimanthudu. It is interesting to see that he has been nominated consecutively for the last five years from 2012 to 2016 and has won three times in that span. A truly impressive record.

We are yet to hear any reply from the actor for the accolade.
