CEPT gets government clearance to increase student intake

Ahmedabad: From this academic year, the student-intake capacity of CEPT University has been upgraded to 80. The state government has granted permission to increase the number of seats in the three undergraduate courses - Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Interior Design and Bachelor of Construction Technology.
Earlier, the number of seats per batch was limited to 55.The demand for the increase in the number of seats has been pending with the state government for some time now. This year too the university had renewed its request to the state government. With this, the number of seats for students from outside the state has gone up to 20. Now there are 57 seats for state board students and three for CBSE board students.
