Balakrishna escapes unhurt from accident

Anantapur: Film actor and Hindupur legislator N Balakrishna escaped unhurt in a road accident at Chandur village near Bagepalli on Hyderabad-Bangalore national highway in Karnataka on Wednesday. There were four others in the car at the time of the accident.
As per reports reaching here, Balakrishna, who was behind the wheel, lost control over the car while trying to avoid hitting an oncoming vehicle and hit the road divider.
The car was badly damaged. However, all the occupants escaped unhurt. Balakrishna, who participated in development programmes in Chilamattur mandal of Hindupur assembly constituency, was proceeding to Bangalore airport when the mishap occurred. Local DSP Subba Rao visited the accident spot.
